Do these keys drive you mad? What is the point of the insert key, except it erases writing if you have the cursor in the middle of a piece of writing?! Ever since I've been using a laptop keyboard instead of a computer keyboard, I've been pressing the caps lock key and the insert key by mistake. My fingers often press two keys at once, sometimes four keys at once, which drives me crazy. And usually when I press ''A'', I always press the caps lock key by mistake, and usually when I press the navigation key that points right, I accidentally press the stupid insert key. The keys are too close together on a laptop keyboard, and are more sensitive to press aswell.

Does this annoy anyone else? Is there a way I can disable the caps lock or insert keys? Usually when I want to write letters in capitals, I hold down the shift key and do it like that.

I used the caps lock key for real today, putting a bunch of capital letters along with numbers into a table. Other than that, I can't remember the last time I used it.

Insert is just there to complete the little six-key island on a full-sized keyboard.

i USE THE CAPS LOCK KEY QUITE A BIT. :P No it is useful sometimes, even the insert key which is useful if you are programming and need to duplicate a row several times then overwrite a small part of every line e.g. incrementing a number.

The one key I never use that gets in the way is the Windows key. It seems pointless to me. When it was first introduced it ruined gaming (e.g Doom) which used to use the Ctrl and Alt keys extensively and this useless Windows key was stuck between the two making it more clumsy to play the games.

The caps lock key gets a lot of use at work for me. I agree the insert key is annoying as well.

The key I like is any key :P

My caps lock key annoys me, especially when i want to use alt tab :x And my enter key annoys me too, because i always press it by accident especially on skype, on my old tiny notebook i seemed to hit some of key that erased like 1/3 of what i typed so that really frustrated me xD But that's also about all the keys that annoy me.

some laptops allow you to configure hotkeys and on some the locks are included, i think IBM used to have this ability, might be something else they kinda flow together after a while.
