Hey guys, I just wanted to share something and really relief myself from the great suffering I'm going thru. I truly hope you'll give me good advice and help me with this. So without further adoo, or whatever here it goes:

I'm Dick (that's how ppl call me) and I'm 18 years old, a young adult. But my autism have caused me great trouble. I have Asperger's since I was very young, and my parents didn't accept that. My father was running an ostrich farm back then, and went bankrupt after the great ostrich disaster of 2004. What practically happened back then is that his greatest asset, an old timer ostrich named "giraffe" was stolen. Our old house was actually right near the farm but nobody knew who stole it. My father was miserable and began to drink.

Needles to say his unstableness didn't really helped me in my childhood... but my mom was really okay with me. I went to school but I was the "different" kind of guy. Everybody started at me, called me "Long" because I was 6"3 and that sucked serious ass. Even the teachers bullied me because of my AS I started hanging out with bad people and dxed OCD age 16. I started repeating my name again and again: "Dick Long Dick Long Dick Long Dick Long" and it never stopped. It was a reflex, and whenever people heared it they ran away. A few months ago my dad found "Giraffe" in another city's zoo. while being drunk, he barged in and started screaming and threatening people. He was arrested... a day later he came back grumpy and all... he had a hickie on his cheek and told us he was assualted terribly by the cops and was bitten during the valiant fight. Even now I have no idea how he managed to get out of prison so fast. Since that day my folks realized they had to send me to a shrink, so he can find a way how to make me shorter. Too tall is weird. I was dxed AS and I knew I had it it's like a dream!

This is my story. I hope I find someone else who relates to what I'm going thru. Thanks again.

I alo think you should stop repeating your nickname. Change your legal name to "John Holmes" and start repeating that instead. It means the same thing.

I don't think it's a good idea to get surgery to make you shorter. Aside from all the severe complications it may lead to, where I live, 6'3" really isn't even all that tall. It *is* tall, but it certainly is NOT abnormally tall. Most girls prefer taller guys, you know - if you'd move here, anyway, for example, that'd be seen as a positive physical trait. So maybe you should just look into moving to another country, instead of getting surgery that would make you less attractive, to so many girls, and which also could lead to very severe physical complications.

You probably should change your last name, in the future, though - that really isn't an overly great last name, along with the first name you have... they don't fit too well together, if you take my meaning. =_=
