Oh its awful outside. The east coast of US is under a major heat wave. One of the downsides to living here. I want a blizzard, and I'm not talking about DQ blizzards. I mean snow!! ! I love cold weather. Is it really hot where you are?

It's summer 9-10 months a year here. Above 90 with 80% humidity on average from April to December.
So I would say it's hot! :D

You should come to the west coast. It's not too cool right now either, but it's not searingly hot.

The temperature has stayed between the upper 60's and the lower 80's over here.

Yes, it's like 38 C right now here in Ontario. I love summer but I HATE the humidity that we get here in Ontario. I miss the Calgary summers.

It gets high humidity in Ontario? I compared weather in Seattle and Spokane and its drastic. I heard that Spokane can get really hot. Seattle not so much.

Hey, we're pondering moving from Alabama, the sticky, stinky armpit of the nation, to Oregon, maybe Newberg, south of Portland (or was it newport?).

I'm in New York and I can't take this heat much longer without snapping. I need to cool down and so do my pets. It's 89 in here. My kitten is panting. I never saw him do that before.

A technique to cool down (sorry if you already know this) is to take a cool shower. I used to do this in Arizona when it got past 115 degrees outside and I couldn't take it anymore. With the kitten gently wipe him/her down with a cool, damp but not drippy washcloth. Most kittens like it, 'cuz it's like 'mom'.

It's mostly been pushing the upper 80s here in lower Michigan. Not a fan of this weather but I can handle it.

Later in July I can imagine it pushing 100 though and that is what really sucks.

Oh yeah, every summer and it seems to be getting worse. Ontario is the province with the hottest summers and very humid. When I was visiting Ontario from Calgary in the summer a couple of years ago it was like walking into a rain forest, I wasn't used to the humidity anymore. I hate Calgary winters but they get nice dry summers, just too short.

But... but... DQ Blizzards are awesome! 8O

I can deal with heat. Just not humidity.

I was in 110 plus weather in Las Vegas but with such low humidity I felt fine. I hate DC. Too humid. 90 plus weather. Seattle is so much nicer. But need to find a job out there first if I want to move to escape the heat. I have relatives there.

Oh yes DQ Blizzards big time. There is a Frozen Yo near my office too which is self serv yogurt and you can put your own toppings too!

I hate cold weather actually. Its 105 right now but I'm in a room with a mounted fan and a ceiling one. I'm about to step outside to check the mail to see how it feels.

edit- lol yeah its really f*****g hot and humid. The air is absolutely sweet though, one of the perks of living in a forest!

Yes, I wanted to go for a run today, but it is like stepping into an oven. It is almost like you can feel each molecule of air without any discernible wind.
