I can't be the only one that enjoys them. Only knowing I'm an aspie for over a week now, and not really understanding was Aspergers was beforehand, I really needed to clear my mind, and a 50-60 minute walk with just God and I really helped me.

Well, I like to take long walks during the evening, but I usually go with someone else. If I can't go with someone, then I just go for walks by myself.

I love long walks. They really help me clear my head. I usually go alone, but I don't mind a small company. :)

I love long walks.

Sometimes really long walks: my life record is 57km (about 36miles) in one day

It helps me clear my mind, lower anxiety and relax

Long walks are absolutely wonderful. Sadly, can't really do them lately in the heat where I live (triple digit weather).

wow! That's almost a marathon and a half!

I've never mesured it out but I'll walk 8-9 hours a day when I am at the county fair. other than taht I probably usually get 2 miles in.

It's just a matter of training, determination, a bit of preparation, and of course - good shoes ;)

I admire people who can walk full distance of walking-marathon - 100km in 24hours, but as far it's out of my reach.

Maybe one day I can do it :)

Hate 'em. Yesterday, while walking through a theme park for hours on end with occasional five-minute breaks in rollercoasters, I started feeling something familiar - a nagging feeling in my big toe on the right. I talked to my mother about it. She has been to a doctor for that problem a few years ago, and apparently it's some kind of genetic condition - she has it, my grandfather had it, and so on. It's not dangerous, but it makes walking long distances very annoying, because one toe effectively starts nagging after a few miles. I prefer a short sprint.

I definitely enjoy long walks, and I might be going on one today.

I like to walk along the river into the town centre, and then walk back home. It usually takes three or four hours in total, depending on how fast I feel like walking.

I like long bike rides, since my leg makes walking difficult, especially for prolonged periods.

Oh yes I love hiking, the natural landscapes make me feel more inspired and just more in touch with the purpose of life, if you know what I mean. I also find it much easier to chat to random strangers I meet while walking, as opposed to elsewhere. Unfortunately they often want to be left alone, which I can also relate to on the other hand.

I would like them if I had a safe place where I could walk & the weather wouldn't be hot & humid
