What are your thoughts toward the microwave beeping?
I've learned that many people apparently hate it and want to stop the microwave before it beeps. I HATE that.
I must hear every single beep the microwave makes, and I usually even do something synchronized with it such as saying, "beep.. beep.. beep.. beep," with it, or going up and down onto my tippie-toes with it, or just other random things. Even if I don't do any of those for some reason, I still want to hear it.

 I mimic the beeps too.

I can't stand the sound of my intercom buzzer going off though. I think it's the unexpectedness of it.

I hate the intercom and bell at school. I don't expect them, and I quickly curl up a little when they sound.

Yay, so I'm not the only one that does that.

I've never really had any issues with this kind of thing at school--we don't have an intercom, how weird is that?--but I do know that feeling when you just sort of tense up at an unexpected noise. Like, when the washing machine buzzes when my laundry is done, it always scares the heck out of me. Geez, they're everywhere.

I'm glad my microwave beeps, or else I would forget about my food and leave it in there!

My microwave gives reminder beeps if you don't take your stuff out of it after a minute or so. My microwave is impatient.

my home microwave beeps too much, but the one at work doesn't beep enough. I wish it's the other way around.

I find it annoying how it does it more than once. Yes, I get the message, you're done now, don't need to keep talling that to me!!

I always set it high on purpose, but it's because it's easier. The sound doesn't bother me.

I'm glad it beeps - especially the reminder beeps after the initial beeps - but it still annoys me.

I like the fact that it sounds off so I know it is done, but I used to have one which if I opened the door after the first beep it would stop, my new one now no matter what I do it keeps freaking beeping and I HATE it, if I have acknowledged you then you don't have to keep reminding me, - the same reason I deleted the calendar app from my phone, I could not erase a date from it, the stupid dates kept reminding me even if they changed and I erased them. So I have gone back to my paper daytimer - I never lose an appointment from the thing erasing itself and it never beeps at me! :D

I try to open it 1 second before it beeps, not because I hate the sound or anything, I just like to pretend that I'm defusing a bomb like in the movies!

I don't have a problem with most microwave beeps (either when you press the buttons or when the food is done), but I have a BIG problem with the ones that are RIDICULOUSLY LOUD! . I've been promising myself for years that I'd disable the beeper in the built-in GE microwave at our place in Dallas. That one sounds like a smoke detector, and you can probably hear it inside neighboring houses!! ! I do stop that one early.

As far as counting or needing to hear all of the beep sequence, I know what that means, but I don't have that issue.

My microwave initially beeps five in a row. The reminder beep is three times in a row.

I wish it wouldn't beep whenever I pressed any key. I'm not bothered by it beeping when it's done. I usually check my food while it's heating up & I hate how it beeps whenever I clear the remaining time or press start it again but occasionally I'm detracted while it's heating up & the beeping tells me to check on it. I hate how it beeps again if I don't get to it soon thou.
