I recently am getting into astrology, I used to think it was a mythical thing but now it's part of my core beliefs.

I want to see if there's any pattern correlation between people with Autism, and their zodiac.

So I'll start off with mine, which is March 20, (Pisces).

Astrology has no basis in fact. I expect that with a proper study, no significant correlation will be found. Here, the population might be limited enough for a false positive.

Any number of factors can influence the way a baby's brain develops (before and after birth), including weather. You cannot say that the time of the year we're born couldn't possibly have an effect on our development and personality (this is not talking about astrology as an attempt to predict experiences, only the personality differences some claim are present in people of different astrological signs).

In spite of the fact that I am both a Libra and I tend not to assume one way or the other from the outset (which is supposed to be the primary trait of Libras) I believe that astrology is full of crap, but you shouldn't act superior based on your beliefs.

I've seen the Natal charts of maybe half a dozen aspies now, and I haven't really found any characteristic that links them or suggests autism.

I don't think the result is meaningful, I think it just so happens that several people with Pisces bothered to vote. The other polls on the subject here have different biases.

Maybe I should find them all and combine the results, that might approach a more representative distribution.

Of course, I understand that. I was just making an observation. For the record, I don't think it's likely that there's a correlation, but I guess we'd only find out if we took a census of the whole autistic population.

Aquarius. I read my horoscope occasionally, but I find the whole endevour to be balderdash; there is only a 0.11 correlation co-efficient between what one astrologer says, and another (0 being random, 1 being perfect concurance.)

Its way to small a data set to draw conclusions from; there would need to be at least x10 times more voters.
