If you make or build things, what are you working on right now? This could be anything from a model kit to remodeling a kitchen, building a computer or even assembling some IKEA furniture. If you make or build things, post what you are doing here.

Me: adding new functionalities to my car's interior. It's a very bare bones car and I am trying to figure out how to improve it using junkyard components. I am also helping a fellow employee at the pizza place I work at sort his first car. It's a sub $500 90's subcompact that has seen better days, so there is a lot to do to make it reliable once again.

I have to write down a list of songs that I have on my iPhone that I want to keep because I'm about to get a new computer and supposedly it deletes all of your songs from your iPhone and there's no way to get them back. I can't use my old computer because I dropped and broke it.

I've been idle for the last few months on my 2-stroke 250-powered Chinese scooter, I currently have access to needed resources but not as much time. I was perseverating on installing a kick start mechanism from scratch but I have next year's registration due so I'm reasoning that staying with pull start for now and smoothing out the imperfections so it doesn't keep breaking cord every 3rd-10th pull may be more logical at this point. I've been telling new acquaintances about it and I'd like to finally be able to drive up and show it to them

Before I can even begin, I'll need higher quality paper and a strong will...

Was this a laptop computer? Was it the hard drive that broke? All may not be lost.

I'm into junk computing. Right now I'm trying to install Ubuntu Linux on a 12 year old computer that I'm reviving with two 160 GByte disks salvaged from broken PVR's. It's a RAID/LVM configuration that makes it super hard.

You did ask.

Now that you mention it, I will be assembling some ikea furniture soon. Getting a storage unit for the room that I will need to set up. Also got a ds really cheap with a broken hinge, so I will need to replace the shell on it. Not an easy task, but at the price I paid and with a little patience, its worth having a go. I also got a few sega saturns really cheap a while back I have to test out and sell on, probably keep one for myself though :) I need to clear out some stuff in here too and sort out some things I'm going to sell that I don't need. So yeah, enough to keep me occupied for the near future!

Download a free app called iFunbox. You can transfer anything that is currently on your iphone with it :)

I am knitting a shawl for my Mother for Christmas. When it is finished I shall start knitting a jumper for my sister, also for Christmas. I have lots of other things lined up too, including making some cushion covers and my ongoing charity sewing and knitting.

A project that I'd really like to start working on is making plush toys of my favorite movie characters in My Little Pony form. Since I like a lot of movie characters, there will be a whole herd of plush ponies lying around my bedroom. :) I'm going to start with the Johnny Depp characters and work from there.
