I'm a 25 year old adult YES but at times I love talking like a child in a childish way. Like my new Skechers Shape Ups they "rock" and have a "Bounce" to them so I'm all child like YA BOUNCY BOUNCE! :-) Dad then remarks "Don't talk like a 2yr. old you're 25!! ! GROW UP!! !! Can anyone relate to this. I do it intentionally just to be cute and it IMO sounds ok. Better than being a grumpy OMG! I HATE! LIFE! ADULT!! !! I can be like an adult WHEN I WANT but if I want to talk childish LET ME! IMO! It's not hurting anyone and no one stares etc. I personally see no harm in it!! !!

The issue with me is not pretending to talk like a child when I am really an adult.

My issue is still being unable to entirely stop talking like a child even when I'm pretending to be an adult.

I AGREE why do you have to act like an adult all the time! Instead of being mad/depressed in life and not enjoying yourself! Have a little fun talk like a child play videogames go on coasters etc. Erica my sister is of the mind set "You're too old to play videogames" to me who's 25. So sad!

My dad hates me watching cartoons and playing videogames... Yeah even my younger sis says that video games are for kids  Now that I am in grad school I don't have time for any of this though but there are times when I just want to watch cartoons. I have mostly grown out of it but its nice to be childish without having to bog yourself down with all the adult worries... As for coasters I am scared :S :P

I do it sarcastically sometimes. Like if I'm not looking forward to something, I say in a high pitched "YAAAAAAAY! THIS IS GONNA BE FUN!"
