Ive never understood why we are programmed to eat certain foods at certain meals. Why is cereal customary at breakfast? Why not have a cheeseburger or a (non-breakfast type) pizza? Its kind of a double standard as its less unusual to have bacon eggs and home fries for dinner.
It annoys me to no end fast food restaurants do not make their lunch/dinner menu available at all times. If i could I would go to Wendy's at 6am for a Cheeseburger and fries, i would. If Pizza Hut were open I would go there.
I am an early riser. Say the average person wakes up between 630 and 730 am, they would be ready for lunch between 11 and 12 pm. If i wake up at 4 am, I am ready for a lunch type meal by 830 or 9 am. One thing I do appreciate, there is a local convenience store chain that makes good pizza, they put out their first pepperoni pizza at 5am.

When I tell people about my breakfast habits, they are generally repulsed, they say something like "my stomach couldnt handle a meal like that for breakfast" My stomach does not keep time, my brain is in charge of that, and if i want a sirloin and mashed potatoes at 7 am thats what i will have.
Thats why I like Truck Stops, I can have french toast at 10 pm or a cheeseburger at 7 am.
