Zebras are black with white stripes, not white with black stripes.

That's only because of the Great Zebra Genocide; in the early 1800's the black zebra's with white stripes eradicated all of the white zebras with black stripes. Pretty sure there's an Attenborough documentary about it.

I'd like to see a Zebra that's pea green and sky blue like the pea coat style jackets that The Kinks wore on stage in 1967.

Back in the Seventies the Osmond Brothers merged with the Jackson Five to form a band that they called "Zebra".
Sadly it didnt last long. They had a lot of great stage presence.

In the 70s there was a brand of chewing gum called Fruit Stripe, it had a cartoon Zebra named Yipes with different colored stripes on the wrapper. The gum was striped, too.

They still make the gum apparently, and still have Yipes on the wrapper, but I haven't seen it in forever.
