The one last year, to raise money for the cheerleaders. I didn't hunt but I went and paid just to contribute and get a tshirt. As it turns out, they accidentally printed way too many tshirts so they gve everybody who wanted one about ten of them. So now, I have ten large "Any County High School Cheerleader's Squirrell Hunt" tshirts. That's just not something you see every day and it's sort of funny.

Who wants one? I got nine to get rid of. Let me know and I'll mail you one. Free.

People hunt squirrels?

Yes, and eat them too.

This was a fund raiser for the cheerleaders. There are a lot of squirrels out on this area of land, and it takes more skill to hit a squirrel than it does a deer. Smaller target, etc. Most people who hunt them don't eat thm, they just do it for sport and also because they are nuisance animals. You don't want to put poison out for them because other animals and pet cats could get to it. They earned a good bit of money with thier squirrel hunt and may do it again this year. We finally got the shirts lol.
