my sister had a baby yesterday so im finally an uncle. i was holding the new born today and i could feel him squirming against my hands trying to get comfortable in his newly exposed state. through the blankets i felt the exact same sensation i have every morning when i wake. i can feel the sheets pulling against me in tiny motions trying to align in the infinitessimal acceleration of the gravity against my prone form. it made me realize that in addition to not knowing how to socialize effectively i also don't know how to breathe.

I've never felt a baby's body, before. However, I find that I have the body of a baby. I have a lot of fat that shouldn't be there, my limbs appear to be short and fleshy, and my hands are shaped more like those of a Toddler than those of a woman. My feet are also very flat, and my heels turn in. You can't get more baby-like than flat feet. I'm doing something about the weight, slowly but surely. I just take it all in stride, knowing that people come in all shapes, and sizes. I take it all with a grain of salt, knowing that I'm very attractive.
