What is your goal in life?

Mine is to make things better (anything).

I think that without a goal to live for, life would be meaningless.

This might sound silly. But how did you come up with your goal? Did you just know that's what you wanted to do? Or did you have to give it a lot of thought? I don't really have long-term goals. I have never had an answer to the question "What do you want to be/do in five years?"

To feel happy and content. I can t see this happening as I am hyperactive and always chasing something new and never satisfied if I don't exceed my own expectations.

I mostly feel this way. Only thing that is different is that I am sometimes satisfied when I reach my own expectations, but I do think I could do better usually.

My goal is to find a compatible romantic partner, but I don't think people "need" to have a goal in life.

In general, I want to achieve a strong level of creative expression in something. I'm not decided on a specific medium, I want to explore different things. I want test myself more in creative writing, painting, digital art, photography, or possibly videography.

I think in at least one of these areas I could succeed in really develop good art, though I have the hardest time with writing. Eventually though, I think if I ever become published, hang art or photography in a gallery, or even participate in a film project, I'll feel like I accomplished a goal in my life.

i want to have a thousand acre property that is completely unaltered by humans, and in a serene location where i can have many animal friends and be left alone by most humans, and for it to be securely mine until i die.

then i will be very content and complete.

i am on my way to that goal (in that i own my own house in a reasonable natural location and i have a few animal friends that fulfill my need for company), but i only own 950 square meters of land which my house is built on

I feel that without a goal, one would just be in a state of unfulfilled limbo.
