Anyone from London, Paris, or Amstersdam?

Flying from Alaska to see Peter Gabriel in London, spending some time in Paris and Amsterdam also, but was wondering if anyone had any travel tips, advice, things I HAVE to see, etc. Have been completely smitten by the Brits for years so of course I can't wait ! !!
Haven't been on here for awhile cause I Killed my last computer, had to save up and get a new one.
Any great CHEAP places to eat in London, or cheap places to stay in Amsterdam? (I'v hit ALL the booking sites to compare prices already.) Of course I picked 3 of the most expensive cities to visit. "Champagne taste with beer money"
