I think chickens are hilarious, for some reason.

i also find birds to be hilarious.
the way they visually scan their world in a "staccato" way makes me laugh.
chickens are exceptionally funny in this respect.
they will visually lock onto a seemingly random minute patch of ground with one eye, and they will keep their gaze locked upon it for approximately 2 seconds, and then they will instantly lock onto a completely unrelated minute patch of ground for another 2 seconds with one eye (mostly the other eye (they do not have stereoscopic vision)) , and they repeat the process continuously and their wattles are thrown about chaotically during the process.

i also find it hilarious to watch most birds walking. they move their heads backward and forward in synch with their gait. i know it is a balance thing, but to watch (for example) a duck who is walking slowly suddenly start to accelerate their pace, and to see the forward /backward oscillation of their heads increase in frequency proportionately makes me laugh (when i am focused on the bird).

I think they are intriguing to watch and can be rather amusing yes. My sister used to have chickens for a short while and I found it entertaining to watch them pecking about. I think it's the case with many animals though.

Penguins and ducks are funny when they're walking about to me.

I have seen birds do some silly things. I saw a hawk come gliding down to perch on a branch high in a pine tree--but the branch was rotten and it broke

And birds are funny when they show up in unexpected places. Like the supermarket, or my bathtub. I had a bunch of cats who were great hunters, but sometimes their prey escaped.

birds piss me off....well only one bird...

When i sleep a single bird attach's itself to the screen on my window and will peck on the window.

*peck peck peck*

I wake up

*peck peck peck*

I look at the window, the silhouette of the bird haunting as the sun rises.

*peck peck peck*

I place a pillow over my head to block out the sound.

*peck peck peck*

I throw the pillow at the window. Seconds later the bird leaves.

*sigh*

I close my eye's....rest returning..oh glorious sleep.

*peck peck peck*

My eye's bloodshot glares at the window. Rage, pure Hatred filled knives exit my eye's. I know the bird can feel them cause it's jumping all over the screen.

*peck peck peck*

I put my feet on the floor lurch towards the window and Open the curtains letting all the blinding light enter my cave. The bird looks at me.....I look at the bird....we're looking at each other.

*flutter flutter*

The bird flies away satisfied. My eyes' bloodshot sleep no longer possible... This is how i start every other day. When the bird comes to visit.

LOL!

Pigeons have funny mannerisms also. The constant cooing noise they make gets me laughing. Also how they tilt their head and scratch with their foot with blinding speed gets me snickering.

One time I was waiting to register for classes in this one building at school, and I just heard this thrashing noise of bird wings. Some pigeons had flown through a door that had been propped open because the air conditioning failed. They all flew up and landed on a beam. All at once people started laughing. Birds are so damn funny but I'm nost sure why.

There's something funny about birds, but I can't think what it might be.

Most animals I find beautiful, especially ones with long necks/ears/horns/tails. However, I find cows to be absolutely hilarious. They look like walking rectangles. So does my cat because he's obese.

I was also about to mention worms. Of all the animals, annelids are the only one I don't like. I just have an unnatural phobia of them.

I think chickens are very cute when they are little. Just little yellow balls of chirping fluff. :)
I like birds.

I find birds to be on the line between funny and amusing. I love to watch their choppy movements. I also think the choppy movements of squirrels can be funny too.

Birds twist their necks and walk in funny ways.

Squirrels run seven meters, stop, look around, run another six meters, stop, check their surroundings, run eight meters, check for danger, and then keep running and stopping. They look so hypervigilant it's interesting to watch.

It's also amusing to see small scavenger birds of the same species fighting each other over food. They seem like playful sibblings fighting with each other. It's more serious than that obviously. Food is survival. I still smile when I see it though.

Birds fly. It's contrary to common sense. Why don't they stay on the ground like all reasonable creatures?
