Can you explain why your nickname Mindsigh is actually Mindsigh and where it comes from?

I can't seem to place it.

It's a lame pun. I was trying to turn a special interest in photography into a paying gig and opened an Etsy store to sell my photos. Nobody bought any, of course. My pictures are what I see "in my mind's eye". Now that I have no internet access outside of work, I can't even post my photography on here, dammit. Except as an avatar.

If you're curious you can look on my Flickr page. I'm goofykid. Some of the pictures there are just snapshots and some of them are "photography". If you can't find my photostream, try searching "skyza". It was some graffitti on a train and I think there's only one or two other pictures with that keyword.

And don't be too disappointed at what you see in the self-portraits. I am an old bag, after all.

Well, that's part of it too. I like to riff on words a lot. Just don't ask me to do even simple arithmetic without a calculator.

Your pics are very good, I like nature photography.
I didn't see any self portraits, though.
I know what you mean about Etsy. I have pics for sale there as posters, but haven't sold any.
Printing costs have gotten ridiculous these days, so there's basically no way to make any money even if I sell any.

I am somewhat limited in which websites I can visit. No Facebook, Tumblr, Flickr, Twitter, Real Estate sites, internet auction sites, dating sites. I do need to be able to look up things, like how to spell foreign words and place names, stuff like that so having some internet access is very helpful.

It makes sense to some degree. It's their computers and their time, so they have a right to say what I can and can't do with it. But I'll be glad when we can afford it at home again so I can quit goofing off so much at work.

I went back and looked through more of the pics this time, and I must say I'm jealous of your ability. Particularly the extreme close-up of the dandelion. Your nature photography is very good.

Oooh there are some really nice pics on there! The "Hot Dish" photo of yours that you took of the satellite could be an album cover, probably for some Spacey Psychedelic Electronics band.
