Nope.

No, the last time I hoped for one (1999, Nostradamus and his prophecy), I got disappointed and now I'm not going to believe in another one any more.

I don't believe it will, but it wouldn't be the end of the world if it did. Err nvm.

If you are worried about the end of the world I'm offering "End of the World" Insurance. For the small premium payment of $100 I will payout $1 Million in the event that the world ends on 21 December 2012 killing everyone on the planet. All major credit cards accepted.

If the Mayans were that good at predicting the future, you'd think they'd find a way to be still around.

Well, the last time the Mayan Long count calender completed a cycle it was September 18th 1618, and I dont think the world ended then, the time before that it was June 15th 1224, and I dont think the world ended then either, so I suspect it wont end this time either.

Of course, the powers that be, and that have been getting us all worried about this day, maybe they have something bad planned, to help start another war or cover the economic collapse, maybe by getting us to expect something bad, then when it does, instead of blaming them, we will all think it was fate, or written in the stars or something.


I give the Bible more credence for setting the date for the end of the world, firstly you have to wait for a Global Government as per Revelation 13 and 17, that is allowed to reign for 42 months, it is followed by Jesus reign which lasts for a thousand years, so I wouldnt go worrying about the end of the world just yet.

(Although of course the tribulations of Daniel 12 mights soon start and that might seem worst)!

I don't, but I kind of believe that if enough people DID truly believe it, then it could be so (at least the end of humankind as we know it). There would be no need to carry on as per usual for the last few months, so all the current systems we have in place would break down. All sorts of crazy stuff could happen, just because people thought the world was ending.
