Why children do things that can harm their life or health

What teens every year I went to a sanatorium that Americans and Brits could be called a summer camp

It was a special summer camp for teens with ADHD, Asperger syndrome, neuroses, and other such problems.

I became friends with a guy with ADHD, you might say that we were like Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock, but that I was Mr. Spock in this duet.

My colleague from the camp told me stories of what happened to him in the past, disturbed in the course of the lesson, the teacher called her mother. The punishment was under house arrest, he lived on the 2nd floor of an apartment block typical socialist realist in my country which is full, I just like living in the ground floor. His friends wanted to persuade him to go with them, but it was locked, his mother went to work. He could not get out the door to go out the window decided on the third floor, he wanted to use the lightning attached to the gutter, he was skinny but lightning and so could not take his weight, and he fell to the ground and broke his arm and both legs. Insurance would not pay compensation because he contributed to the accident, and his mother had to pay for a new lightning protection. But I never got any more as a punishment of house arrest.

We had time than 13 years old. I've never done dangerous things. But I wonder why kids do things like that. Sorry for my english:-)

I thought this was going to be about drugs and stuff. In that case, I would have mentioned the people at my school in my year who smoke, despite being underage and having learned about it's effects.

children of all ages [some of 'em nominally adults in physique] do harmful things because they don't know any better.
