Do you have an interest in floors? Different types of flooring like tile, linoleum, and carpet.

No. But many ladies here might have strong feelings about "glass ceilings".

I don't really have an interest in floors but I have some work experience related to floors & know some stuff related to floors but no where close to an expert with anything. My primary task at my longest job (which was 25 months) was cleaning floors but I also assisted in stripping & waxing them, other types of custodial things, & some noncustodial things. The other two jobs I had were also cleaning related but floors were not the primary aspect thou I did clean them some. Also my dad worked in construction (retired a couple years ago) & I assisted him taking the carpet out of a couple rooms in our house & replacing it with other types of flooring; the 3 rooms were different projects at different times. If I get a part time job, it would very likely be cleaning related thou I'd be open to other types of work if I felt I could do it.

Not really an interest, but I do like decorative ceramic floor tiles.

The only time I occasionally think about the floor is when I'm sat in the bath and I suddenly run through a scenario of the floor collapsing and me landing in the downstairs neighbours bathroom.

I run through the whole scene. But in my head it looks more like a cartoon than what it would look like in real life.

Only if I'm enjoying a nice heavy dose of psilocybin! Then old dirty carpets and wooden floors can look rather interesting to stare at for a while.

Otherwise, meh.. they're just floors to walk on. Well, except maybe ones with fancy hot water or electric pad heating inside them.. or the main floor of a house I worked on that was 2' x 3' x 3/4" thick labradorite stone tiles - that was impressive. Or some fancy herringbone wood floor or something like that that looks neat. Still, look neat to see wouldn't care if I ever had anything like that in my own home. Opulence is such a waste of money that can solve practical problems instead.
