I like some opera. I got to see Phantom of the Opera in New York and it was an amazing performance.

I hate opera. The noise is unbearable.

I have not seen a opera play and might find some of the voices overloading. However, I love some male tenors, my fav being Franco Corelli. I dislike most female voices but not all.

I enjoy it, though I'm not as well-versed in it as I would like to be. I have a bunch of Richard Wagner on CD.

I always wanted to see one LIVE, but no one has ever taken me. Maybe some time. I especially wanna see Don Giovanni by W.A.Mozart. It kinda reminds me of a Rococco version of Batman! 8)

needless to say, a corny parody of ruggiero leoncavallo's "i pagliacci," which btw is my fave operetta. i guess it's called an operetta.

I voted No, but I cannot know for sure because I haven't tried it. I once lived almost next door to the Finnish National Opera, but I never bought a ticket. Judging by what I've seen on TV, I'm pretty sure it would be utterly boring.

Sylkat named above Tarja Turunen. Apart from opera, she's one of my favorite singers, too. The way she sings Snowman is memorable.
