I love the homeyness of still being able to walk to the video store to rent a copy of your favorite movie or show on DVD. Sometimes, I can't imagine being too happy if they closed down for good one day.

I remember doing that when i was a kid and lived in the countryside, went to the gas station and picked up a VHS or two. Nowadays, i prefer ordering movies/series online, too many people in the local store (live in a large city now).

I've gotten the habit of doing the same thing at the local Cex near me. DVDs ranging from 50p to £3. It's a habit I cannot afford right now unfortunately. amazing how cheap some great movies go for, ad yet how much some crap movies go for.

I think it just seemed more cool and acceptable to read and view physical books and movies. I don't know any more.

I also enjoy doing that. I've found some pretty good bargains as well. :)
