I am 6'2" and well built. I'm half Irish half Italian, I have been in many fights and in tough environment, I was in juvenile hall and boot camp before I was diagnosed properly. I have been around bad kids my entire life and I refused to conform, I can fight well when I need to but I truly hate fighting or even verbal altercation.

I am extremely shy. I am from the NY suburbs and lived in NYC from 07 - 10. I was hit on a lot by gay men.

I have a fairly deep voice and I do not have anything feminine at all about me.

I have been told, oddly, that it is because of my shyness and "eyes"? I have been told that men usually do not have eyes that pop and are bright like mine? It is beautiful but considered to be a feminine trait?

I don't get it, at all. It makes me depressed, insecure and angry. I am at the point where I want to prove it, just like I did when I was in school. I want to beat some dude up so bad. I already have enough issues, I am going to get told I am a punk?

I need some opinions, do I have a gay look? Also, I have nothing against gays or anybody, just NT douch.es

They may be hitting on you in the hopes that you might be gay, not because they completely think you are. This type of logic doesn't make sense to me but I know a few gay men who hit on a heterosexual man in the off chance he might be gay. I don't think your shyness has much to do with it and in regards to your eyes being feminine, there are plenty of women who find that trait attractive as well and consider it unique not feminine.

you have a good-looking look. that is why you are getting hit on. which gender that hits on you is neither here or there, i don't see anything particularly feminine in your look

I work with two gay men, one I see at least three days a week.

He is ALWAYS thinking about, talking about, some good-looking younger man he has seen, who he knows nothing about.

His comments, 'He's so pretty', 'oh, he's gay, I can tell', 'No, he's not straight' could get him fired one of these days if the wrong person heard them.

I think this is the same thing....someone sees someone who appeals to them and they act on wishful thinking, not considering others' feelings.

No one likes being categorized, and many of us on WP have been, and it is not right.

I'm tired of my mom thinking that my old autistic friend is gay.

Sort of like those seemingly innumerable threads where the OP is clearly of the opinion that their favorite celebrity is an Aspie.
