What is it to you? Do you feel you have an attachment to music that is stronger than the average person? If you do, do you also play music regularly? If you fumble around with a guitar once a year then that's a no. I'm talking about people who play regularly.

I play music and listen to it regulary. It's my ASPIE obsession ;)

I couldn't do without it. I put some songs in my roomie's MP3 player and we both dance and sing when we're bored. Otherwise I play the synth/piano, melodica, ukulele and abit on the harmonica.

I think I like music alot more than the average person but I don't play it because I have bad fine motor skills, no talent & tone death.

I've played a few instruments throughout my life I i loved it but I'm completely incapable of creating my own. I can mimic others but I don't really have my own talent in creating it.
On the other hand, form the second i wake up I have music on.

I don't get people who don't listen to music. Some folk seem capable of tolerating whatever crap is on the radio, or can take it or leave it. It's like a power source, or food. Music matters.

I never stick at an instrument for long meself - fingers too clumsy. Better to leave it to folk who are good at it. ;)

Doesn't stop me...

Also, I wonder what the tone of death is? :P

I don't know what music is to me. It's a bit like asking what 'life' or 'love' is to me, you understand? Difficult to answer. I think music is everywhere, even in kitchen appliances.

I have very little musical talent, but I write songs and make my friend sing them. I do keyboards and she does guitar. I am sort of 'in a band', though we still need more members. She is more musical than me but I just have lots of ideas and creative energy.

It's when a performer sings so well, the audience says "he killed it!"

I don't play nearly as much as I used to, but I love music with all my heart.

I love music, but in a different way to years gone by. I think most of us in our teenage years use music as a way of forging our identity and our musical tastes play a large part in how we view ourselves. Now I love music for it's own sake. When I started learning the guitar many moons ago the objective was to impress girls, now I play for the love of the instrument. I'm in the primitive stages of learning piano too. I've only learned some sad classical pieces, but that's often in tune with how I feel, so they can be quite therapeutic to play.

I'm pretty obsessive when it comes to music. If it wasn't for a good amount of personal restraint, I'd probably totally spam this forum with music posts lol! I don't really play any instruments though...I'd like to but it's hard for me to find the time. I used to play both the piano and clarinet but never kept them up long enough to really reach a level where I'd be comfortable playing anything more than the basics.
