I had a skateboarding accident a few days ago and i messed my knee up something bad! today it felt a lot better but out of curiousity i was feeling my knees and theres was an extremley obvious hole in my knee cap that wasnt in my other knee. what is wrong with my knee?!?! i can walk on it i can put weight on it (but i can not squat, i can bend my leg and feel a little pain but i can not squat,) should i get an xray?

Yes, you should go to see a doctor. Are you not in pain? I thought you would be in great pain.

Of course go to the Doctor immediately. You should not take chances with your physical health.

i got an xray and no broken bones or fractures showed up and the doctor suspects that its just swelling which i find highly unlikely due to the fact its an obvious hole, im gonna wait a week and check again at the hospital

You should go to your doctor and get it checked out.

Do both your knees look the same appearance wise? If your kneecap appears higher or lower or off to the side in comparison to the other knee it might be a dislocation of your kneecap.
