I hate her too, please change the advert, i really hate her, she looks like she has condom on her face, it's disgusting, why this advert is on our forum.

beside, she looks like me Polish Language and literacy teacher( I'm Polish), i hate her because she force me to read Greek tragedy, like Antigone and Oedipus the King (Król Edyp in polish, about guy who humped own mom, it's disgusting) and William Shakespeare and many other books, that i don't liked. She looked like that "lady" on picture. :D

I also have a dislike for her. If that's all a 50 year old woman can hope to be, we live in a pretty sad world.

Adblock helps tremendously. I haven't seen her mug in a long time.

I almost feel guilty using it because the site gets some money from the ads being displayed but I don't because some of the ads were in the way & redirected my page. I tuned out most off the ads but I would sometimes accidentally move my mouse over an ad & a few of them would pop out & my WP page would get hijacked by/redirected to the ad page. I'm sure Alex does not pick the ads that are shown here. It's some kind of company that handles it.

I hate her, too. I hate all those sneaky dishonest ads by criminals.

They're no where near as bad as popups which appear then hide themselves behind the main window :|

Don't feel guilty about Ad-Block. Isn't is correct that he only gets paid if people click on them? Or am I totally wrong about that? I don't know...

I started using the No-Script addon with my browser, because of the stupid Cloudflare script error that makes WP freeze up every other time I click a link on it. That also made a lot of the adds go away.

Going to keep using it at least until the Cloudflare thing gets fixed. No scripts, no freezing.

I use FireFox's version of an adblock, and it gets rid of the moving/streaming ads. It doesn't touch the plain ones that are just text or a picture, but it can if you want it to (and you can set it that way.)

However, the main intent behind this is not to remove the advertising, but that if enough people blocked out the streaming/moving ads, companies will get the hint and reduce or remove those ads (as they tend to massively slow down screen loading and often annoy people.)

I wish they would respond that way, but instead we usually get "well, if you're going to block our ads, then we're going to block you!" and the website won't load at all. Or at least they complain that we're not supporting the site because we're not generating sufficient ad revenue.

I wonder who all those stupid "one weird trick for _________" and the "________ hate her!" ads are making money for? And how? Probably some scammer in Moldova.

The issu I notice most with adblock is that sometimes a popup page comes up despite adblock being enabled or I get redirected to another page

Maybe it's the sites I stumble across on FireFox. I submit the popups to adblock by clicking on it & selecting Report Issue On This Page
