Neurotypical syndrome is a neurobiological disorder characterized by preoccupation with social concerns, delusions of superiority, and obsession with conformity.Neurotypical individuals often assume that their experience of the world is either the only one, or the only correct one. NTs find it difficult to be alone. NTs are often intolerant of seemingly minor differences in others. When in groups NTs are socially and behaviorally rigid, and frequently insist upon the performance of dysfunctional, destructive, and even impossible rituals as a way of maintaining group identity. NTs find it difficult to communicate directly, and have a much higher incidence of lying as compared to persons on the autistic spectrum. There is no known cure for Neurotypical Syndrome.

Oh, boy, more of the us vs. them mentality.

Let's blame everyone else for our social difficulties.

I have some traits listed above, but not enough for a full diagnosis. :P

1. I posted this as a joke, made me laugh because normal folk are so quick to mention the bad traits with autism and not the good. This is fun reversal.

2. I think that autistics communicate in different, but equally effective ways.

Dear SanityTheorist,
You are a brilliant diagnostician....let us hope that at least some of those poor souls get the help that they so desperately need.

Also, you are a comic genius with a gift for the written word.

I blame the mercury in vaccines for the epidemic of Neurotypical Syndrome. When they removed thiomersal from vaccines, the rates of Neurotypical Syndrome subsequently decreased.

Yet another example of how everyone has problems - both the neurodiverse and the NTs!

Definitely a different and even comical way of looking at things. Different groups of people are not considered neurotypical and I have learned more about it from my readings online. For example, dyslexics, people with ADHD, persons on the autism spectrum disorder (no more Asperger's according new DSM) and NVLD (not sure what this in the new DSM) and persons with epilepsy, as well as persons with TBI (traumatic brain injury) and other brain damaged individuals. There may be more and not sure, and would think persons with synthesia, as well as bipolar disorder and schizophrenia are not NT.

Since I grew up thinking I was normal and then have found out in the past few years I am not and have neurological difference, I would like to know for one day what an NT person thinks as they go about their typical work day or weekend day (I suppose introverts and extorverts that are NT would differ).
