Well, not really, but a little ego-boosting is good for the soul.

I got this message on Flickr last night:

I said 'yes' and thought about it.

The picture itself is here (http://www.flickr.com/photos/lancashire/309586288/). I don't even know why I took it to be honest - I was on a trip up to southern Cumbria and just poked my camera out of the window at a junction and shot it.

Today, I look at the BBC website and find this (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/6232425.stm) - credit and all. Isn't it beautiful? Sorry if I'm lording it but I'm quite pleased with myself at the moment. Ah yes, the photography and archival of social history looks positively fascinating to me right now.

Sorry if some people here want to vomit but I'm quite the happy bunny.
