Self-explanatory; this is a thread about any unusual, out of the ordinary habits ya have.

I tend to speak with a variety of accents. Sometimes, in my posts, I use 'ya' in place of 'your' or 'you', 'mah' in place of 'my', and 'ahd' in place of 'I'd'.

My brother sometimes points out that I like to add " - and stuff" to the end of my sentences.

I frequently adjust the waistband of my pants when talking to people, particularly if I feel embarrassed.

I pucker up my lips before taking a sip from a glass.

If for some reason my fear of vomiting kicks into high gear (such as when I get menstrual-related stomach cramps) I will bury my face into a terrycloth towel and take a couple of deep breaths. This is because I used to vomit into towels as a child, and my reasoning is that if I were truly going to be sick, the sensation of the terrycloth on my face would trigger a gag reflex. However, this has never happened to me before, and instead I get a feeling of relief because the lack of gagging means that I'm not going to be sick.

I would sometimes bite my lower lip when I'm stressed. I would also tend to play with my hair and twirl it.

I instinctively say "what" even if I understand someone the 1st time.

I'm always grooming myself. Picking my teeth, plucking my eyebrows, doing my hair type things.

I also say 'what' even when I understand.

I also tend to stare at fixed objects when I'm talking to people.

I don't know if it's a habit as such but I prefer to watch the TV from the reflection in the mirror. I suppose looking in the mirror is a habit though.

An extension of my first post:

Despite not being REMOTELY from the Southern US, I tend to use their dialect when speaking, using such words as 'mah', 'y'all', etc.

When I feel comfortable around people I tend to talk in my own funny language.

I can't stand grease (dirt and mud and stuff are okay, oddly), so I eat fried chicken with two forks to avoid the grease.
