So I'm wearing it today. It's actually one of my very favorites, a vintage number I picked up at a junk store. I'd say it's early 60's, calf length chiffon pastel floral, sleeveless, full skirt, V-neck. I call it my "garden party dress" cause it looks like something you would wear to one. It was in the back of my closet and I was looking for something else and ran across it. I've only worn it once since I bought it. I'm not doing any heavy work today, so why not? I've been a jeans and tank tops and sandals kinda gal lately so dressing up will be fun.

I might as well go all out vintage and do the hair, nails and makeup in that style as well.

To bad I'm not going anywhere today. I'd put on a hat and white gloves to go with it.

Gosh, that sounds like fun. Post a pic if you can. I can actually see it now.

I just put some in my pics on FB, but they suck. My daughter took the pics. I take a HORRIBLE picture. When I look in the mirror and smile I look fine, pretty almost even. But as soon as I get in front of the camera I actually feel my face tense up into an unnatural expression between nausea and anger. I have an idea though. I'm going to get her to show me how to work it and take it in the bathroom. Look in the mirror while I do it. And I will take picture after picture until I get something that I'm happy with. Which may use up all her film. (I know, ipods don't have film, I just had to say it)

I'll post one here in members when I make a good one. Meanwhile, if you can go look at the four she just made and put on my FB for me. They are under my pictures, not pictures of me or albums. Check out that look on my face. Somebody's gonna hand me a barf bag if I keep that up.

ETA; I just tagged you in one. I also noticed that I look about 4 months pregnant because of how I'm standing and the pattern in the dress. I'm not.

Pretty dress. :) Your face looks fine, and you look like you're ready to hit the town.

Awww, thank you! My other daughter is going to try some more in a few. I'm going to sit down and spread the skirt out so you can see it and hopefully have my normal face in it.

Oh, and I'll wear my white gloves in one. I told a friend I would.
