This one needs no explaining.

I love conventional ovens and microwave ovens. Even though the latter tends to go <BLEEP> at every single turn (making it one of the most obscene appliances I've ever used) I love having warm food in an instant. :D

the most important one in my life would be my fridge and freezer. a tie with them, however, would be the microwave. they form a titanic twin of food preparation and preservation.

I like dishwashers the best, especially the ones from the 1940s.

Vacuum cleaners. I always loved Kirby from The Brave Little Toaster. :D

I would like vacuums a lot better if they weren't so damned loud! I have to wear hearing protection when using one.

I haven't had much use for a traditional vaccum since my home got hardwood flooring.

Yeah, they're both very good, but so are the fridge that keeps my food cold and safe between meals....

I like the washing machine too... Imagine having to wash clothes the old fashioned way! 8O

I can't choose between them.....

when I watch my washing machine work, on the agitation cycle it makes a very curious PIZZAPIZZAPIZZAPIZZA sound.

My electric water kettle. It can boil water in under four minutes, and there's no annoying whistle. :D

Yes, they're totally loud! I used to hate it when my mom turned ours on, and was actually scared of it bcuz I thought that my toes would be severed off if she accidentally swept the vacuum over them while I was watching TV or something. I actually think that seeing Kirby in The Brave Little Toaster cured me of my more irrational fears, but I was still bothered by the noise up until I was much older.

Does TV count as an appliance :?: If it's just considered an electronic I'll say the fridge because it keeps my soda & water cold & keeps food fresher & the freezer part stores icecream & other food.

I didn't know that they had dishwashers in 1940's. That's the decade of WWII. Did the dishwashers from such a long time ago really clean the dishes?

I love many appliances. It's hard to say which. I'd agree with auntblabby. The fridge and freezer with the microwave are really essential. I use them every day. My espresso machine also gives me joy every day. And the washing machine is very important.
