Do you see words and numbers written out when you hear them?

Do you see words and numbers written out when you hear them? I do this.

I do. In my mind's eye I also see numbers in particular in default colours,which is due to Synesthaesia.When I was younger I never knew there was such a condition.

Numbers yes.
But I don´t always see the words written out because I also tend to have a picture in my head. For example if someone says "chair", I don´t see the word but the picture of a chair in my head. Of course this doesn´t work with words like "but", "also" and so on. Then I rather see the word written out.

As a matter of fact, I do. I also see numbers in both word and number form.

I do, especially with numbers; words are less frequent but it's not rare for me to visualize them too.

me too- an apple is still a cartoon apple w/ a worm coming out(like in flash cards)
numbers have always had their own personality's, I found it strange that it also was Synesthaesia

For someone saying the word "chair", I see the word "chair" AND a picture of a chair in my head.
