Just a week or so ago as of this writing in the United States, the second-most popular burger chain in the world, Burger King reintroduced its Big Mac clone, the Big King after a decade-odd-long absence (however, this time BK is claiming it will stay on the American menu for good). If any of our non-U.S. readers have the Big King served at their Burger King, let me know.

I ask you all this, which do you prefer: The McDonald's Big Mac, or Burger King's Big King?

I actually like both of them. The Big Mac is a classic, but the Big King has more of a outside grill like taste to it. Reminds me of good times......

I'm a vegetarian, so I'd actually prefer the Gourmet Vegetarian Pizza at Papa Murphy's!

Personally, I can't wait to see which will outsell which. :)

I'm a meat eater, but I don't consider what BK or McD's serves to be anything close to real meat, it barely qualifies as food.

You need to put a neither option on the poll.

I always go for either a McChicken or 2 x McDoubles. Never really tried a Big Mac. We don't have Burger King or Hungry Jack's (we used to).

Gotta say, when it comes to the additional stuff like drinks and salads etc. I prefer Mc Donalds, because they offer more variety in my country. But when it comes to the Burgers, then the Burger Kings Burgers taste in general better. I would love it if they both simply would join, and I could order full menus with burger, drink and salad at one restaurant. Burger King has in my country sadly only soda-pops for drinking and offers only one sidedish salad. :(

Neither. Can't stand condiments which make those burgers. Just give me a plain Whopper.

Neither. However, I like Burger King better than McDonald's. I like Burger King chicken tenders with fries.

Both are a heart attack waiting to happen, and a bunch of grease between two soggy buns. Nope, not for me. I get sick when I eat them. :?

I don't like condiments either so at McDonalds which is my fav I usually get a Double Quarter Pounder plain with cheese in addition to large fries & 10Peice Nuggets. At the King I get a plain Triple Whopper & sometimes get cheese on it in addition to large fries & large onion rings.

I can't recall the last time I had a hamburger either establishment, I have never had a Big Mac or a Big king although I would take a Jr Whopper over the Micky D's comparison.

I'm with Makayla though on the health issues, I see the diabetes rates just went up again and when viewing the health info on the hamburgers in question I can only wonder why. I would rather eat something grilled then fried, the only thing that should be fried is the french fries!

I don't remember hearing about a Big King either but if they hadn't had it in 10 years; I wasn't going there or to McDonalds as much 10 years ago & I never paid much notice to the menu items I didn't order so they would of had to advertize it on TV abit for me to be aware of it then & 10years ago is along time for me to remember commercials for products I didn't care about.
I prefer McDonalds fries but they were better along time ago before they changed something. I think it may of been that they were putting some kind of meat or meat related stuff in the grease but some vegetarians or some kind of religious group had a problem when they found out there was meat because they ordered before not knowing; I could be wrong about the background story. I also miss Supper Size but they quit offering that due to negative publicity because when people ordered the worker taking the order would ask if they wanted to Super Size it & most would say Yes. The publicity gave the impression that the customers were saying Yes because it was instinctive so they weren't capable of deciding to stick with the size they intended. & Super Size is larger so therefor more unhealthy & more fatning so health conscious & health conscious parents got upset. I wish McDondals would of just told it's employees to quit asking customers if they wanted to Super Size sense some of their customers are/were apparently too freaking STUiD to decide for themselves not to upgrade & stick with the size they were originally going to order.
Burger Kings fries are alot better than they used to be but I still prefer McDonalds current 1s thou it's not by a huge margin of preference; it was aLOT bigger 15years ago thou. I haven't tried the Kings new Satisfries yet. Talking about this is making me hungry but I haven't had breakfast yet & should eat in like an hour. It's been a little while sense I went to either place & sense my birthday is tomorrow & I cant think of anything else to do; going to McDonals would be an excuse to have an outing & go to the mall sense there's one in the mall & I can see if there's anything I want to buy myself besides McDonalds food. I haven't talked to my girlfriend about my idea yet but I'm sure she'll be on board. I'm still not completely sure if I want to spend the money thou due to being tight on funds because I bought bus tickets for us to go down & visit my family for xMas.
