It's kind of neat! You can pick any of the eleven doctors, though none seem to have an advantage over the other, and then you kind of have to platform your way along the obstacles toward the letters that form 'GOOGLE', one letter per level.

I picked Eccleston, until I was exterminated by a Dalek toward the end of the second level, but I don't think you can run out of lives. Soon as you get killed, you just regenerate into the next Doctor and it goes on and on. I made it to the 5th level, but after passing the sliding electric tiles, I didn't know what to do, so I tried pressing 'L', but that just took me out of the game and into the Google search engine. And since it doesn't save the progress, I didn't feel like starting all over again. I think it took me a good 20 minutes (! It didn't feel that long, though)

Anyone else who gave it a try?

EDIT: It's not minutes. My score was 23:46, and I'm typing this barely 10 minutes after originally starting this thread. Well, that was kind of entertaining!

I'm surprised Google didn't pick a different 50th anniversary instead and have a sharpshooter game. :P

Eehh... I was surprised about that first part as well, (not about the absence of a sharpshooter game). But I know you're joking. :P

There were a couple of sites that took offence to Google picking Doctor Who as today's 'Google Doodle' and not JFK. No wonder.

I've been trying it all weekend. I also haven't been able to get past the 2nd level.
