Wintery weather sucks (b**t nuggets)

Man I started out with what I thought would be an easy post for Bonnie's blog this morning, and 14 hours later I am just now finally getting it posted. Wintery weather makes too many extra chores that interrupt things far to easily.

I'd love to come over and shovel your driveway for you.

I've spent the day going in and out, trying to make sure the outside wood was covered, the inside wood was full. The trailers were not getting slush in them (wintery rain/snow mixed). etc.

This morning was interrupted by a branch going through the rear window of the truck. We had to call to get the home owner's insurance to try to cover that, since it was stationary. Still ended up having to pay part of it, money we needed for something else, of course. So several hours were spent on the phone this morning lining up a window replacement, then getting the window replaced, then I got home and had to deal with the insurance because they some how messed up our payments to them (and of course thought we were late in premiums when we called to get the window paid for)

So it's been a fun morning. Freezing rain is not good for brittle limbs, and that is not good to have your cars near.

It's snowing outside but I managed to finish today's post for Bonnie's Blog without the internet crashing. I am getting spoiled

I love winter weather , it's my favorite season

It is true that not everyone lives in a house that doesn't stay warm in the winter, that lets every cold breeze slip through the siding and window panes. Not every has to struggle to find enough wood to burn to keep alive.

For those who don't face these struggles, and for those who enjoy them, you are welcome to enjoy the sleet, freezing rains and all the other elements that threaten to kill me and mine every winter season.
