So my first computer had Windows 98. The screensavers were fantastic. I loved 3D Maze, Flying Windows, and Curves and Colors. Marquee, 3d text, and star field were also nice.

Then I got a Windows XP computer. I still really loved the screen savers. They weren't as good, but they were still nice. 3d pipes and flower box were my favorites. But we're did 3D Maze go?

Now I have Windows 7, and I am honestly amazed at the boringness of the screensavers. There is nothing interesting there! Well, maybe ribbons, but that's it.

I liked the 3D Maze screen saver, too. I didn't know it's gone. I'm still using XP myself. I will soon buy a new laptop. I bought a Windows 8.1 laptop for my mum but didn't try the screen savers.

I found this as well and there used to be so many options for customizations. I'm sure there are people writing and converting the old ones that you can download, that's what happens when so many of the people who know computers have a dislike of change.

I'm fixing the problem by downloading some old screensavers (I have maze and pipes now :D) and getting some new ones like a waterfall one.
