i'm pretty happy with where i'm living now. alls i ask is that there's some mountians nearby, (walking distance) with beautiful grim woods. that i can stare at and take a walk through or spend the nite in them by going camping

Texas, or our arch-rival Oklahoma, because that's where all the geology jobs currently are.

My short term plans are to make for Seattle either to finish my degree or after I've finished it, but long term I may go out of the country. I figure, that since I can't have a social attachment to my environment, there's no reason for me not to move to my ideal climate, which would be somewhere that is overcast and rainy most of the time (Seattle is sort of a compromise in that aspect because it's not as rainy as people make it seem, and they don't have thunderstorms, but it's a beautiful city and a great place for a person in their 20s). I hate, I freaking hate, when I tell people I'm planning to move there and people go "why?!"

Longgg term I would absolutely love to live in the northern UK or Ireland, and possibly somewhere on the Medditerranean like Greece or Israel (at least to visit).

somewhere with clouds, rain, wind, and no neighbors, trees would be nice too, but I would give up trees for rolling grassy hills <not prairie grass, but the sort of grass you see in movies>
