A small popup window announcing that this script is running and it should be stopped. Another option is to let it run but it never completes.

Seen that lately? For me it started yesterday night my time. I wonder what else there is running in the background.

Not seen that. Maybe browser dependent / add-on dependent? I block all adverts and most scripts on this site.

Well, I block everything, too. It only happens to me on this site. Every time that I want to log in, the said popup appears, some three times.

coud it be an issue on the computer side with javascript rather than server side?
just wondering because am not getting this issue at all with either firefox [has adblock plus addon] and OWASP mantra portable [has adblock edge addon]. :?

Which browser & blocker?
I'm using Firefox with NoScript and Adblock Plus; NoScript blocked "sharethis.com" on WP by default and I have no inclination to enable it - or any of the other gizmos/ads. :wink:

I use a Mac with standard Safari and have seen any pop-ups on this site.
