Jimi Hendrix, I'm not sure what he doing musically when he died, but it sure would have been interesting to see what he did over a long career.

Richard Wright, I'd really have enjoyed one last reunion of Pink Floyd.

Pete Quaife of The Kinks. I'll never get over that one for a couple of reasons. He was a quarter of the original lineup and my mum was acting like a snot when I told her the news.

John Lennon. The lead singer of my second favourite band, The Beatles. They would probably be together today if he wasn't shot.

George Harrison. Pretty much the same story, except he wasn't the lead singer.

Davy Jones of The Monkees. He was my favourite Monkee. That was not a good day for me. I cam down with the worst cold of my life, and later on that day I heard he passed away. There was a black crow (the messenger of death) on one of the branches of the tree outside my window, for two weeks before that day.

Jimi Hendrix. He was a third of my third favourite band, The Jimi Hendrix Experience.

Brian Jones. The founder and original bandleader of The Rolling Stones. He died so young.

Jim Morrison of The Doors. Another great leader of another great band.

Amy Winehouse. I'd like to bring her back to life and give her the rehab that she needed.

If I'd somehow gained the ability to resurrect one person from the dead, it would be Fred Rogers. His program Mr. Roger's Neighborhood was one of the few things I found happiness in as a child, and there's no doubt that thousands of other viewers were in the same predicament. He was a person who was truly concerned about the well-being of children and remains the only celebrity whose death I've cried to.

But only if he PROMISED to play the guitar and write songs again. (It wouldn't be any fun if he came back and was a complete recluse again.

Freddie Mercury - He was in one of my favorite bands, Queen, and died very young. I was only four at the time.

Shari Lewis - I grew up watching Lamb Chop as a kid, and at the time of her death, she was working on her new show Charlie Horse's Music Pizza.

Jim Henson - I loved his works from Sesame Street to the Muppet Show, and when my brother told me he died, I was crushed.

Phil Hartman - I loved him best on The Simpsons, and the show is pretty much not the same without him.

Marcia Wallace - Same deal with Hartman, though she passed just a few months ago.

Funny how often it's musicians mentioned in this thread.

I do miss Keith Moon, besides his onstage antics, he was a true wild man. The trashing of the hotel room in the movie "The Wall" is based on Moon, not Barrett.

Walt Disney- Died a year before Walt Disney World began construction. The Walt Disney Company would have been a lot better than it is today.
