When I websearch myself just as a query in a search engine I come up dry.
The only way I come up with anything is when I do one of those criminal background check things. I don't have any criminal background. No arrests or anything like that, but those searches bring up addresses in the state I currently live in, dating back about 10 years but no mention of out of state addresses.

No, but I've found myself in a bit of a pickle from time to time.

Just tried and got more than 10 million matches to my full name; I'm not on the first few pages thankfully. I like my anonymity.

I only use my full name for official things. page upon page of my full name, but none of them the real me. I did live in an apartment community twenty years ago which had someone with the exact same name as mine in the same community, but we never met.

There was about 300,000 results for my name but I'm not there.

I can't see any reason why I would be either, nobody knows me.

In addition to names, another fun one I've tried is to google some of my email addresses. I'm usually surprised by some of the places it appears.

I've never tried that. I will give it a shot but, I have more email addresses than I have nose hairs. I may need to activate autoscroll.

I just googled myself...

In the top 6 answers, 4 are me, and 3 of them are from my grandparents' obituaries (pretty weird), and the other one was to my fundraising page for a recent event at school.

On the third page of results, I came up 2 more times for making the deans list in college, and the honor role in high school.

I discovered that there are a lot of people who have my same last name and my first name as their middle name. Some of these people are men and have a girl's name for their middle name! Who knew!

I Googled up my WP name one time. I wasn't too happy with the results. I've also realized that a certain comment was posted the same evening that a troublemaker was banned from here.

One link to a comment on a You Tube clip. However, I seem to have the same name as a doctor in Michigan and a Canadian boxer.

I found that I am a politician from California. It was on the Internet, so it must be true!

So a lot of people discover alternate realities when the Google themselves. I don't know why I always get recommendations from so many FB pages for people to Google themselves. Is someone, other than Google, profiteering from Google name searches, or self searches?
