From puberty on it started to become clear to me how much I love the woods and nature. When I still lived in my home town I used to go there SO often. And now, where I live at the moment, I discovered a pretty huge area covered with forest and I was really pleased with that. I love the green, and how beautiful it is, and seeing the moss and the animals. Especially when there're no people around

But as I discovered this whole new area for me to explore and get lost in it became very clear again exactly how much I love nature. Can anyone relate? Why do you love nature? Is it related to autism?

I love the isolation of forests. You are my kindred spirit.

It's nice in the autumn time when all the leaves have gone orange.

I do love forests. Only sounds are the little animals and the wind. Ultimate peace of mind.

The first two photos above (autumn foliage) are taken in Vermont, ("Green Mountain" in French) well-known for its mountains and forests, hence the name.

I took a train up there a few years ago, and it was one of the best trips ever.

I love forests! I love the solitude, and the smell.
I don't know how to show pictures, so i'll link you to some of forests near where I live:
-Grizedale forest
-Gwydir Forest, Snowdonia

Also love forests especially with no other people. At the moment I'm painting trees, but would rather be painting trees while IN a forest. Also on this subject I am trying to move to a place with forest nearby. Quietly running and walking on a trail in a forest = bliss.

I love forests. So much quieter than civilization. Fresh air that is never dry. Just the right amount of light to see what you're doing and just the right amount of dim so it's not bright enough to overwhelm. All the textures. The beautiful lush green of life. The soft sometimes even squishy ground to walk on. The sound of water when it's near enough to hear...it's a place I can really relax.

I especially like northern forests. In Siberia, there's probably a million square miles of forest. I like clearings in forests as well.

Love dark brooding forests.

Traveled to many corners of the USA. West, East, and Florida. The appalachian landscape combines some of the ruggedness associated with the west with the lushness of the eastern broadleaf decidious forests for the most beautiful landscape IMHO.
