So...who do you think Perkin Warbeck really was? Was he really the Duke of York, or a pretender? Now, there is no doubt that he resembled Edward IV, or so people say, and that he had some connection to the York family. To this day, no one is 100% sure who Warbeck really was, as no one knows what happened to the Princes in the Tower. I like to believe that Warbeck was actually an illegitimate child of Margaret of York, Dowager Duchess of Burgundy, and sister to Edward IV, George, Duke of Clarence, and Richard III. In her series, Philippa Gregory claimed that Elizabeth Wydeville sent a changeling in his place, while she sent the realy Richard to safety. What's your opinion?
