There's a huge outbreak of spider wolves in my area.

You step out the door to get the morning paper, and they pounce on you and tie you up with their silk.

I can hear them howling at night, roaming the streets. The police aren't picking up. I'm trapped inside my apartment, weaponless, with a limited supply of food.

Here's a photo taken from my window, minutes after my neighbor stepped out to pick up a UPS package. The UPS man (off camera) was being torn to shreds by these savage beasts.

I've never heard of spider wolves before, but I think the local Mystery Beast must be one! There have been reports of large bloodstained whitish bundles appearing on the streets, and the disappearances have doubled since last month. I think it must have got into my neighbours' bags when they were on holiday. I'll try and take a photo of it. I hope it doesn't breed.
