Really? I don't understand. I don't see why I must be macho just because I have a penis.

You dont have to. Look at justin bieber.

You could act gay and go shopping with women. If I were a guy I would so do that.

An upright standing chap doesn't give a d*mn what others, with the exception of a few, think about him and just is confidently himself. Regardless whatever convention. But.... this' coming from an almost 40 years old hfa-er, who has been struggling with what others think about him at times before, yes.

Ahhh, but acting gay around women around when you're straight presents a classic problem: They tend to think you're gay

Perhaps this is why men tend to act more homophobic than women: because they don't want women they're trying to attract to get even the smallest impression they're gay to the extent that most guys are even pretty leery about even just giving other guys simple hugs. While on the other hand women tend to be much more physically friendly and close with each other :) .

On what two tablets of stone is it inscribed that a male must be macho?

I've never met a truly 100% macho man.

I'll tell ya what, real men tread their own path and are true to themselves. Don't let preconceived gender stereotypes dictate your behavior; that doesn't make you a male, it makes you a BETA male.

100% straight man here. On a scale of 1-10 on the macho scale I probably rank a 4, yet my sexual orientation or value of a man has never been questioned. Not even the fact that I do like the 'Village People' or 'Glee' and sing a lot in public has tarnished that.

IMO I dont think you should spend your life worrying about if you look or act gay, people will accept you for who you are, and if they dont then you dont need them anyway.

I'm a fairly scrawny guy and people do push me around more for that. Yeah it really sucks how the biggest jerks get the most in life. Just find the right people and hang around them. Forget about everyone else.

Aren't all of us with an ASD the penultimate manly men (women included, of course)?

I mean, the extreme male brain and all that. :P

A man defines himself through his actions in the face of duty,
and, in his inactions in the face of temptation - day by day - moment by moment.
An inescapable truth and obligation that is the threshold of simply being male to that of being a man.
Shiroi Tora original - but naturally realized by all men.
Ah yes - I am quite the legend in my own mind! :)

Machismo is an illness that must be cured by any means.
