Bed Bugs my new obsession

I move into my new apartment at the end of Aug beginning of September. My father gives me a couch that he has been using for a while. My friend and I get it into the apartment and see evidence of a bed bug infestation in the couch. The couch was immediately thrown away.

I dust, spray and wash everything in the apartment. I mean everything. I also spread Diatomacious Earth all around the apartment, opened up the electrical outlets and stuffed some in there. I bag my mattress and box spring. I was thorough and find no evidence of them.

My father has yet to do his part and I have banished my self from there until he does.

I goto my friend with benefits house and a week later she started to complain about bedbugs. She tells me about it, and I tell her that I use to have them. Now she is blaming me for her bug problem and wants me to pay for her extermination. I say yes to this because I have a guilty conscience.

I don't know, I solve my problem because I was vigilant. I really do like killing them it's like searching and destroying when I use to hunt for terrorists using the UAVs. People are just lazy and not listening to me what to do. They just vaccum and spray which is good but not enough. When I offer to help her she acts like a real jerk saying that she can do it herself, and yet she wants me to pay for the exterminator if its bed bugs.

Me & my girlfriend had problems with em after we moved into this apartment. We couldn't go to property management about it because when we moved in my girlfriend's Section 8 inspection lady gave her a big speech about how we needed to be extremely careful about bringing used things home because bedbugs are bad in the area & the apartment is clean so we'd be responsible for the cost of having all the apartments exterminated sense their connected. The place already had bedbugs thou sense we never noticed a single sign before we moved in. They come out when people are still for awhile so management had & maintenance had no way of knowing sense they weren't sleeping here & the power had been off awhile & winter was coming so place was cold when when moved in which also makes em less active. We cleaned everything & put that Diatomacious Earth power around all the walls & bug bombed the place. We got rid of em but neighbors moved our a few months ago & maintenance started doing work in there & we started noticing bedbugs again so they were probably coming from getting stirred up in the apartment next to us. We cleaned the bed good & put that power down around the walls again: we should of reinforced it before that point because it was kind of disappearing in spots & we quit noticing bedbugs after awhile. They were biting my girlfriend instead of me which is weird because ants & mosquitoes are attracted to me.

I would only freak out at and get stressed by bedbugs or any other pests. A few years ago drain fly infestation led to my mental health problem. It took me one and a half to two years to recover from it.
