What if it was possible to inhabit the consciousness of every childhood, and relive any chosen one... not exactly the most exhilarating it would be for the majority of them, so interesting is what it's fundamentally about... but wouldn't it be nice to just ultimately settle in with a loving family, after some observation? Not just randomly dropped in one in some random geography... bleh.
