Watch out if you go to the Acme! I had a charge of 11 dollars on my shopping receipt with no purchase attached to it. I took it to the clerk, they got the transaction info from it YET could not find it in the master database. A phantom item on a receipt! They gave me back the 11 dollars. If people don't check their receipts, they could get ripped off. I will NEVER EVER use a credit card there or in Target!! Take some advice, if you want to make a bank withdrawal, DO NOT use an ATM machine. Go in the bank and make your withdrawal!! Also, lately in New Jersey, things are being found inside the places where you run your credit card when you get gasoline for your car. Pay with cash even for gas! Crime is taking a big bite out of us through technology. It's a shame. Add more if you know of anything!!

That's scary.

I have heard about some cases where some criminals kept stealing some info from the people that used EFTPOS at certain stores/restaurants and actually kept stealing money from those people's accounts.

I try to limit the places where I allow myself to use my cards to minimise the possibility of becoming a victim of such crimes.
