when getting a pet, you make sure the cat matches the furniture. example: if you have an orange sofa, and the walls are painted orange, you get an orange pet.

you get a pet first, then get the furniture and make sure the furnitue match.

none of them has to match.

i think nothing has to match. i have three cats, black and white, black, and brown with stripes. all sleeping on my orange sofa that they had destroyed beyond recognition.

in my experience, the cats' continual fur-shedding will insure that the furniture and carpeting will match, in time.

hell, I had a chronically shedding cat named mushi, that if I stayed in one spot too long, by the time I got up I MYSELF would match the furniture and the cat! :lmao:

None of them has to match. This is something I have never even remotely thought about, and it will never matter to me at all.

OP, do you actually know anyone who gets pets to match their furniture or furniture to match their pets??

They will also claw the furniture so much the mesh in it will hang out so outside color of the furniture won't matter.
