Roommate: advice & need one
I live in Colorado & I'm looking for a roommate & advice.
I am graduating this May with my bachelors & am moving out of my current place. My parents have supported me financially while I'm in college. Once I graduate, I'll be financially independent. The rental price in the area I want to live & work is too high for me. I might luck out & find a place but probably won't. My ideal would be a two story townhouse or single family home with two bedrooms & a small backyard for my dog.
As a result I need a roommate to help cover rent. To stay on the safe side I have to meet the potential roommate in person before making any decision. The roommate can be a wrong planet member or someone a member knows. I hoping to meet a potential roommate at AutHaven this March.
*I will respect my roommates opinion but I will not tolerate prejudice/hatred against any group or person. I don't require perfection but I do expect my roommate to be open minded, respectful, kind, & tolerant.
*If you are interested or know someone that is contact me via private message.

Details:
I see the world as many shades of gray. Life is what you make of it. You do what you can, take what you get, learn from it, & move on. My home is my safe haven. Functioning is dependent on my anxiety/stress levels & sensory issues. As long as I have my downtime I do great with very few exceptions. I'm a night owl and I need a lot of sleep, quiet & no parties. I am clean & organized. I hang out at home, the mall, or with a few friends.
I have two beasties, a kitten & a dog. They are everything to me, my lifeline. It is essential that my roommate & my beasties are friends. My kitten is a 9 month old mix with vision issues. He was found in a feral colony when he was 10-12wks old. He has depth perception issues & most of his vision. He is flourishing with some minor setbacks. My dog is a 7 year old small terrier mix with emotional issues. She is sensitive, easily spooked/startled, wary of new people/situations, and reactive aggressive with dogs. However, she adores cats, puppies, & little kids. She is a sweetheart that lashes out at others out of fear. Once you're her friend, you are friends for life, she will do anything for you.
I'm fine if my roommate has beasties. However, I am allergic to most dogs & cats. Due to my dogs reactive aggression, the best would be a small, gentle, low energy, older dog or puppy if well behaved.
