I was also watching the Patriots game, so I just had a slice of fried ham with rice.

How did the meatballs turn out? I may have to try that.

I didn't know coriander and cardamom were used in Chinese cooking. Looks nice any way. Maybe you can take a pic of your meatballs and post it here later.

I'll just eat the quinoa salad that I made yesterday for dinner/lunch/supper/whatever.

Haven't cooked them yet. They're still in the fridge setting.

No, I'd never heard of that either.

Looks nice. Did you not cook rice to go with the meatballs?

Nope. I get full quickly and I didn't want to fill up on rice.

Sorry. I missed your post. Yeah, they turned out nice. There's a picture above.

The sauce was unusual but nice.

Good to hear they turned out nice.

I'll often make stuff in quantity and put portions in plastic bags or containers--then in the refrigerator if I'm going to eat it soon or the freezer if I want to store it longer.

While I like pumpkin pie--I'm usually not up to eating a whole pie in a few days--much better if I freeze half of it after cooking and defrost it when I'm in the mood.

I sure did, put it all in the slow cooker earlier today and walked away :D , perfect for cold stormy weather. It was a tasty cut of beef, fell apart at the touch of the fork. Your meatball recipe sounds good too.
