But cats pwn, no?

If a cat is at all anything like an Aspie, then a dog provides a perfect example of a loud and obnoxious NT. I hate dogs.

They smell.

Agreed. And I hate their lousy attempts to gain affection. They are emotionally shallow animals.. easy to break and very simplistic.

They say dogs co-evolved with early man. Wolves and early man both had larger brain cavity than modern day humans or dogs. Which some suggest humans had better sense of smell in the past and the neuro-circuits that powered it have died out mostly as working dogs had superior smell anyway. Also a dog needed less independent thought as he depended for more on humans so dogs have smaller brains than wolves.
So dogs likely have played a much larger roll in human evolution.

Dogs have a huge history of being domesticated.. Cats do not. As such, cats still posess higher adrennal levels and this makes them more feral than the average dog.

Did you know the common house cat is the most highly evolved mammal predator on the planet? It hunts more species of prey than any other animal.

Dogs do not suck.

The cat that lives in my house only loves me for my windowsill.

I had a feeling. They are also so versatile they get along with humans.

Cats are very smart. They out performed dogs in almost every mental test. Problem solving, visual memory, overall memory, etc. And yes, but any pet can adapt to get along with humans.

I once saw a documentary that claimed the reasons homo sapiens beat out of homo neanderthalensis was because we were able to tame and befriend dogs, using them for protection and hunting, while they could not.

And Schmoo is very intelligent. So is Cow Kitty, Oreo, Flo, and every other cat on this planet.
